When should I get vaccinated?
While the ideal time to get a flu shot is before flu season starts in October or November, it is still beneficial to get vaccinated in December and throughout the influenza season. It takes about two weeks after vaccination for the antibodies to develop that protect against infection, and protection can last up to a year.
