History
The Allen County Flu Task
Force is a coalition of local public and private health care providers. Formed
as an off-shoot of the Community Infectious Disease Network of
Allen County, (Indiana), the task force
first met in 2004 to respond to that season’s flu vaccine shortage. Since then,
the task force has met on an annual basis to discuss strategies for distributing
flu vaccine locally and for educating the public on other flu preventative
measures.
